We did something totally different before we started Rockin Road Trip last January, but when it was done it was D-O-N-E! Interestingly, we keep in touch with fewer than 5 people from those 12 years — And one of them is

Love this sweetie & super-glad she’s one of the very few who have transitioned with us from our HIGH-TECH TENNIS life & to our Rockin Road Trip life! We were soo happy when Miss Meg joined us on the Rockin Road Trip for the first time on St. Patrick’s Day 2018…

And we were even happier when she came back more than six months later… THIS time to celebrate her much-belated 34th birthday on Friday, November 2, 2018!

You may know that we have a minimum of 10 & a maximum of 34 on the Rockin Road Trip but do you know WHY that is??

Well, we have 34 seats so that’s the max <though we have had 38+ on the bus after the Flip Cup Tourney but that’s another story about another road trip>, lol. And if we don’t have at least 10, we don’t have a party of any kind.

We had EXACTLY TEN in Miss Meg’s Birthday Blast Road Trip so while they may not have been the LARGEST, they were definitely the LIVELIEST!! The uber-talented Zach Cambria commented that this was THE BEST ROAD TRIP EVER!

We went first to Sweetwater Brewing since that’s one of MEG’s favorites … but oops—we forgot about the construction in their taproom & it was cold cold FREEZING that night!! Just time for a quick group pic & half the group was already back in the bus with the band, lol

The party was CLEARLY on the bus for this group & you can probably tell by the blurry pics that this group had a ton of blurry fun!!

Zach <keys & vocals> & Ali <drums> kept the party ROCKING on the bus as we ROLLED down the streets of Decatur!! This is truly a PARTY ON WHEELS!!

MEG & her friends <old & new> seemed to be enjoying themselves right off!

Before we knew it, we’d arrived at Three Taverns Brewing… Time to strike the pose!

While chatting w/ two young ladies who’d just moved to ATL from NY, I called Meg over & put her on the spot by asking her to tell the girls about the bus.

No one ever wants to leave a brewery, especially one with soo many yummy sours, IPAs & other things but again – the party was on the bus!! And by this time, this already happening group decided to kick things UP A NOTCH!!!

Meg’s friend BRYAN felt like sharing… a little TMI, lol!!

Thank goodness we somehow remembered this!!

You only turn THIRTY-FOUR once & thank you MISS MEG for celebrating your belated birthday on the Rockin Road Trip! We hope you had as much fun as we did… If so, please SHARE this with your friends cool  Bootstrapping a #biggreenbus business is not as easy as you might think, lol.

And don’t forget — If someone you know is looking for something super-fun & totally different to do, please think of us!

Check our website for upcoming events or reach out to arrange for YOUR NEXT Rockin Road Trip!! Our next shared trip is coming up & we have SEATS AVAILABLE!

November 9 from 7-10

Cheers & hope to see you soon!
